Mr Nicholas Law

Nicholas Law studied medicine at St. Bartholomew’s Medical School and completed his surgical training at The Royal Marsden and Westminster Hospitals. In 1998 he was awarded an MS thesis for research undertaken at The Westminster Hospital, examined at London University. His training in vascular surgery included appointments at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital.
Mr Law has been a Consultant Surgeon for over 20 years and runs a busy endocrine surgical practice attracting patients from both within the UK and also worldwide. He is lead surgeon for Thyroid and Parathyroid surgery at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust managing the service for all Royal Free sites along with the North Middlesex and Harlow Hospitals. As an experienced surgeon who specialises in the treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disorders, all operations are performed using recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring and, where appropriate, minimally invasive techniques.
Mr Law also a specialist in varicose vein treatments using modern techniques of radiofrequency ablation (VNUS), endovenous laser therapy (EVLT) and sclerotherapy.
He is an enthusiastic cyclist and regularly ride on and off road. He has competed in both road and cross country bike races over the last few years and completed a number of classic cycle rides including: Geneva to Monte Carlo, Turin to Monte Carlo and the Pyrenean raid.
