About Mr Jack Demetriou
Jacks priority is to rehabilitate patients back to full health. This is achieved by making them comfortable in our surroundings, communicate effectively, educate them on their injuries, and advise on an appropriate rehabilitation programme.
Jack Demetriou is the clinical director of Trent Park Physiotherapy. He is a chartered physiotherapist and is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and the Health care and Professions Council. He is the England U23 football team physiotherapist, working closely within a multidisciplinary team since 2006. He has worked with UK and European elite athletes from sports including professional football, premier league rugby union, team GB athletes and triathletes, world champion boxers and cage fighters.
Another facet of Jack’s work is lecturing, specialising in anatomy & physiology, and sports injury management & rehabilitation. He is also a mentor for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students from varying universities, providing clinical and sports specific placements since 2004. In addition to physiotherapy, Jack is a qualified gym & fitness instructor, and a sports injury rehabilitator.
In his downtime Jack enjoys travelling, scuba diving, sport, watching a good movie, and socialising with friends and family.
Jack’s specialist areas include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injuries, manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, sports and remedial massage, manual lymphatic drainage.
